       一、表语从句的翻译

　　英语表语从句翻译成汉语时，翻译公司的译者一般可按原文顺序翻译。
　　例1 ： Cost factor is what we should take into consideration.
　　译文:成本因素是我们必须要考虑的。
　　例 2： His view was that the public were either for him or against him.
　　译文:他的看法是，公众不是支持他就是反对他。

　　例 3 ： What he emphasized again and again was that, no matter how difficult it might be, they should never retreat even for an inch.
　　译文：他反复强调的就是，无论多么困难，他们决不后退一寸。
　　二、同位语从句的翻译
　　英语中，同位语从句用于对名词做进一步的解释，与其所修饰的名词处于同 等地位，专业翻译公司的译者译成汉语时可以保持原有语序不变，也可置于名词之前。
　　1.同位语从句不提前
　　视情况可增加“即” “也就是”等词或使用冒号、破折号、括号来连接名词和 同位语从句。
　　例 1 ：They expressed the hope that they would come over to visit China again.
　　译文:他们表示希望能再到中国来访问。
　　例  2 ： He stands by his claim that we should eat right, exercise, take vitamins and get a pet.
　　译文:他坚持自己的主张，即合理饮食，锻炼身体，服用维生素并养个宠物。
　　例 3 : This reinforced the idea that nothing was impossible, that I could do
　　anything I wanted Q
　　译文：这进一步增强了我的看法--世上无难事，我想做的一切我都能 做到。

　　2.同位语从句提前
　　例 1 ： Obviously there was little probability that they would succeed, but they didn’t mind.
　　译文:很显然，他们成功的可能性很小，但他们不在乎。
　　例 2 ： The fact that girls are doing more shopping may result in their spending more money in stores they go to.
　　译文:女孩们现在购物多了，这会使她们在所逛的店铺里花更多的钱。
　　例 3： Yet,from the beginning,the fact that I was only a child was ignored.
　　译文：然而，从一开始，我还只是一个小孩子这个事实就被忽视了。
